The USS Wisconsin Radio Club, Inc. operates at least four special event stations each year.

The first is the Wisconsin QSO Party held in March.  For details, CLICK HERE.

The second is "Museum Ships On The Air" (MSOTA) which will be held 2-3 June 2018.  For details, CLICK HERE.

The third is a commemoration of the Decommissioning of BB-64 when the USS Wisconsin was struck for the third and final time on 30 September 1991.  In 2018, this will be the weekend of 22-23 September as we coordinate operations with the USS Wisconsin Association’s biennial reunion of former crew 19-22 September.

The fourth is a commemoration of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, which just happens to be the date the ship was delivered to Nauticus in the year 2000.  This event occurs on the weekend closest to December 7th.  For 2018, this will be 8-9 December.

From time-to-time, we participate in special projects, such as working with the local Scouting community.

Subject to being in use, our preferred frequencies are in the General Class section of the 20 meter and 40 meter bands.  We use 14.264 Mhz and 7.264  Mhz.  Why?  Because the USS Wisconsin is BB-64.
