HamClock Onboard

4/12/2025 – We have installed HamClock and it displays on the huge monitor in the forward Radio Club space. This presents a lot of great information of use to our radio operators but also is a great visual for any Nauticus visitors that drop by. As of today, we have configured HamClock to display where our club’s WSPR beacon transmitting from the battleship Wisconsin is heard around the world.

I welcome any questions or comments you may have

Jim and Caleb fabricated a mount for the new 40” display for HamClock aboard the ship.

Caleb Hull, KK4EOT, my son who is also an N4WIS club member, fabricated the bracket for the Ham Clock monitor.  Lance provided the 1/4” aluminum plate and my son drilled the holes so the monitor will bolt right up to the 4 existing holes on the ship located just above the R-390 receiver.  Hopefully I measured well enough that it won’t need to be modified. April 3rd ship visit to install.

I will be there this Thursday morning to help with the HamClock and monitor setup, etc. And, as Bill stated, maybe get the ship on the air. Sorry it took so long to respond, got a lot going on.
