The USS Wisconsin Radio Club meets monthly on the second Saturday of every month.  We alternate between in-person and virtual meetings.  We hold our in-person meetings at 12:00 PM at Gus and George’s Spaghetti and Steak House, 4312 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.  We hold our virtual meetings at 1:00 PM, using a web conferencing link provided by email announcement from our President.

We operate on the air as much as possible.  Our Flex Radio 6500 enables our crew to operate off-ship, at virtually any time night or day.  When onboard the ship, our crew operates our two Icom 756 Pro II transceivers and our Collins TCS 12 transmitter/receiver set. Each year, we support four events significant to the USS Wisconsin, the U.S. Navy, and our maritime heritage.
